She reached out to me, sharing a story that touched my heart.
“ The ring touched my heart so powerfully because my beloved dad always said this and I can still hear his voice saying ‘Mamela this too shall pass’. I actually cried when I saw the ring. “
Her father’s words had comforted her for years, and now, those same words found new life in my design.
It was more than just a phrase, it was her father’s voice, his wisdom, and his love. She asked if I could create a bracelet instead of the ring - something she could carry with her daily, a reminder of her father’s enduring strength. And so, I designed this gold bar bracelet, engraved with “This too shall pass”.
But really, it’s more than just jewelry - it’s a piece that carries love, memory, and hope.
We all face moments of uncertainty, and sometimes, the simplest words can help us keep going.
For this woman, her bracelet is now a symbol of her father’s legacy, and for anyone who wears it, it’s a gentle reminder that no matter what we’re facing, this too shall pass.
